The wolf has been long misunderstood in our Society. He has been hunted, trapped and poisoned To the brink of extinction. He is not the vicious marauder that he has been portrayed to be. The wolf is a social animal, with A loyalty and devotion to family that few human families Can claim.
Find Wolf Facts and Myths here... We can all learn lessons from the Wolf.

I have long felt a connection with Native Americans, Though I did not know why. My recent discovery of my own Native heritage (Lakota Sioux) was thrilling. As my Mother was adopted, her lineage has always been a question mark. Now, the question has been answered. With this new knowledge, comes a quest for more. I study Native American history and learn about more pain and suffering than any one should ever have to endure. I learn of strength unimaginable. I learn of a deep knowing......of a true understanding of and harmony with Mother Earth. I have gained new insight. I have new goals.
I have great respect for those who have gone before.

I now know that my path lies in the way of the Wolf. It means to establish ones territory, to find ones pack, to call Upon that instictive nature that has been squelched. It means to Howl !

La Loba guides my way.

La Loba, Wolf Woman

La Loba sings so deeply that the floor of the desert shakes, And still she sings, the wolf opens its eyes, leaps up and runs Away down the canyon. Somewhere in it's running, whether by The speed of its running, or by splashing its way into a river, Or by the way of a ray of sunlight or moonlight hitting it right In the side, the wolf is suddenly transformed into a laughing Woman, running free towards the horizon.

The wolf

Some people do not like it if you take a sniff at everything To see what it is. And for heaven's sake, no lying on your back With your feet up in the air. Bad girl. Bad Wolf. Bad dog. Right? Wrong. Go ahead, enjoy yourself.
